I first heard about papercruiser.com a while back, and though it was pretty cool. At the time, they had a handful of models of some cool rides available. I started following them on Facebook. After a while, they posted a poll about what their next model should be, and there, in the middle of the poll, was my beloved IH Scout 80/800. Sure enough, the Scout won the poll, and about a month later, they posted they were available on their website. I ordered mine immediately. When you order, you specify what model, and in which of the available colors, and they email you a PDF to print out, cut and assemble. Though the Scout was listed as an easy to moderate build, what I saw when I opened my PDF, I was slightly terrified by what I saw. 3 Pages of parts to cut out. While there were many straight lines, there were plenty of curves, angles and small parts that needed to be liberated from the page. As a result, I filed away that PDF for more than a year. A few weeks ago, I was poking around in the dusty recesses of my laptop, and I found my Scout Paper Cruiser. I decided to give it a go. I printed it out (per their instructions) on the nicest cardstock I could find, broke out the X-Acto knife and got to work.

After all the pieces were cut out, it was time to start folding and gluing.

Again, per suggestions, I used pain old Elmers white glue, and a fine tipped paintbrush. A very thin layer of Elmers dries very, quickly, making assembly move right along.

And before long, it was done!

All in all, it took about 2.5 hours from start to finish. I feel like I could have done a better job, now that I have finished one, and may try again sometime. Anyway, if you're into this kind of thing, you should definitely check out !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and their fairly impressive selection of available vehicles here: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
